Private lessons

The following prices are before contributions by Swiss health insurance plans in case of pain or illness. (Page in German, but numbers understandable for non-German speakers - any questions, please send a message).

• 30 Min: 68 francs
  
• 45 Min: 96 francs
  
• 60 Min: 127 francs
  
• 75 Min: 150 francs
  
• Video analysis of posture and movement: 30 Francs

Payment by e-banking/pay-in slip at the end of each month.
Paying cash reduces my administration work. This is why paying cash
makes each lesson 3 francs cheaper.
In either case, you receive an invoice at the end of each month.

Trial lesson with video analysis

The first lesson takes 60 or 75 minutes, at your choice.

It includes:

• the video analysis of your posture in standing, sitting and selected other movements
  
• an introduction to the Alexander Technique and some practical and useful anatomy
  
• individual instruction to improve your co-ordination
  (all being fully dressed, as always in Alexander Technique lessons)
• Answers to your questions

September 2011 special:

Quoting the keywords "co-ordinated movement" a trial lessons costs only 124 instead of 180 francs. 75 minutes for the price of 60 minutes and the video analysis for free, saving you 56 francs.

Contributions by Swiss health insurance plans

Daniel and Raphaela Harbach are registered complementary therapists with the quality labels of EMR and ASCA. They are recognised by all Swiss health insurance plans that cover the Alexander Technique. Most complementary insurance plans cover the lessons in the Technique.

Insurance plans cover between 60% and 90% of lesson costs. Most plans do not require a medical certificate. You can simply start to have Alexander Technique lessons and solve aches and pains.

Group workshops are often considered as 'prevention' by the complementary insurance plans. Such courses are also supported. However, each insurance treats them differently.

Workshops

Bespoke workshops

If you like to attend an introductory workshop on the Alexander Technique or a workshop covering specific themes, such as back pain, neck tension, stress or Alexander Technique for singing, musiscians or pregnancy, please let us know and we can arrange a special workshop for you.

Workshop language

Workshops are given in English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese. Workshops presented on this website are currently in German only. Please call us on 044-210 2972 in case you would like to attend a workshop in your language or if you are not sure if your German is enough to follow a workshop.

Cancellations

Cancellations can happen. Please notify us as early as possible, latest at midday the day before the lesson. Else we unfortunately have to charge for the lesson.
